My friend Tony and I are putting together an anthology. It’s called We Were Emergent. Please check it out. We’re accepting fiction, non-fiction, and lunch poems (strictly speaking, poems written during your lunch break or, I’d also say, about lunch). We’re doing this mostly because when we were both writing teachers, we read a lot of stories that were surprising and unusual, and those stories, for the most part, disappear–forgotten in folders on hard drives, lost on lost USBs, stuck in the backseats of strange cars, left in storage units. And we think they deserve more attention. So pass the word on. Check out our submission guidelines. You can also sign up to help out if you’d like.
